ONTARIO SCIENCE CENTRE TRIP - February 10 We will get a chance to explore the amazing Science Centre and participate in a Science Investigators workshop. On the day of the trip, we are asking parents to pack a lunch and snacks that can be disposed of. Students will be walking with their bags while enjoying the exhibit. We want to make sure all their belongings are safe and bags are light to carry. REPORT CARDS AND INTERVIEWS Report cards will be sent home on February 10 to Junior Kindergarteners only. Interviews are optional but may be requested by the teacher. VALENTINE’S DAY – February 12 Students who wish to give cards to classmates are welcome to do so. Please do not put names of students on cards but do write your own name. Ms. Cunningham’s class has 26 students and Ms. Yang’s class has 28 students. We will also be having cookies with icing and sprinkles and hot chocolate that day. Please let us know if there are any questions or concerns. IMPORTANT DATES Tuesday January 20 – Family Math Night @ 5 pm Friday January 23 – PA Day Tuesday February 10 – Report Cards go home to JKs Friday February 13 – Interview Day, No school Monday February 16 – Family Day, No School Friday February 20 – Jump Rope for HearT Wednesday February 25 – Kindergarten Registration Day for those born in 2011.
